Titus 2:3-5

"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands so that no one will malign the word of God."

WOW! What goals to strive to live up to; being reverant (showing respect, godly)in the way we live. We are not to slander (talk about someone in ways that make them look bad to other people) or lushes(well addicted to much wine). Then we are to help the younger women love their husbands and children. We are to teach them to be pure (in thought, word, and actions), to be busy at home (keeping the home in order as far as clean and home life structure), to be kind, and to be help mates to their husbands.

WOW! Yes I said it again. So just how do we go about living those three verses...making them as natural as the air we breathe? To make it all very simple: communicate with Jesus daily; reading the Bible and prayer. A simple way to communicate with Jesus is simply a daily journal. When we are so in tune with Jesus we can only WANT to be godly. Being godly women will keep our tongues from lashing against other people in our lives. When we are so filled up with Jesus and His Spirit...HE is ALL we will need...no other outside substance. As growing and compassionate Sisters in our Savior we will be able to help younger sisters (ladies) to learn through us by means of modelling and at times guiding with our words.
